Terms of Use
these terms of use ("terms") govern your access to and use of the briva mobile app and related services (the "service"). by creating an account, tapping agree during sign-in, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms, our privacy policy, and the briva end user license agreement (eula). if you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
you must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use briva. you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will use the service only for lawful personal purposes.
The Service
briva is a self-improvement and social-confidence coaching tool. it offers daily actions, drill rehearsals, growth plans, progress tracking, and optional paid features. briva is not a medical, mental-health, therapeutic, or emergency service. it does not diagnose conditions or replace professional counseling, therapy, or crisis support. you are responsible for your own choices, safety, and conduct in real-world situations.
Accounts
you may sign in with email or sign in with apple. you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. notify us promptly at CacciatoriRassmussen02@outlook.com if you believe your account has been compromised. we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose risk to the service or other users.
Your Content
you may add profile details, optional photos, drill notes, recordings, and other content through the service ("user content"). you retain ownership of your user content. you grant briva a limited license to host, store, process, and display your user content only as needed to operate the service for you. your content is not posted to a public social feed. see our privacy policy for how we handle information.
In-App Purchases
briva may offer optional paid digital items through the apple app store, including auto-renewing vip memberships, one-time coin packs, and feature unlocks connected to the service. free features remain available without purchase. payments are processed by apple, and briva does not collect payment card or other payment-account information.
vip membership unlocks benefits such as unlimited daily task swaps, all drill scenario packs, full weekly progress reports, every growth plan, and a vip profile badge for the active membership period. coins are virtual currency used for optional actions such as extra daily task swaps and unlocking advanced drill packs. purchased digital items are licensed for your personal use within briva, have no cash value, and may not be sold, transferred, or redeemed for cash, except as permitted by apple family sharing. purchased coins do not expire while your account remains in good standing.
vip subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. you can manage or cancel subscriptions in settings → [your name] → subscriptions. payment is charged to your apple account at purchase or within 24 hours before renewal. if a free trial is offered in the app store listing, any unused portion may be forfeited when you subscribe.
eligible purchases can be restored after reinstalling the app using restore purchases in me → settings and the apple account associated with the purchase. coin packs are consumable and may not be restored after they have been spent. refunds are handled by apple. if apple refunds or reverses a transaction, briva may revoke the related items or benefits.
apple may provide limited transaction information, such as purchase entitlement, transaction identifiers, and subscription validity periods. briva uses this information only to provide and restore purchased benefits, and does not use it for advertising, marketing, or sale.
Acceptable Use
you agree not to misuse the service. without limiting other restrictions, you agree not to:
- use the service if you are under 18 or if you are prohibited from using it under applicable law.
- harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm others, or submit false safety reports.
- attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service or its security.
- bypass, interfere with, or exploit purchase flows, restore purchases, coin balances, vip membership periods, unlocks, trial limits, or other access controls.
- use automated means to create accounts, farm coins, or manipulate streaks or progress.
- upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or content you do not have rights to use.
- use the service for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Intellectual Property
the service, including software, design, text, scenarios, graphics, and branding, is owned by briva or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. except for the limited license granted in the eula and these terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Third-Party Services
sign in with apple, the apple app store, and ios system services are provided by third parties under their own terms. your use of in-app purchases and subscriptions is also subject to apple's applicable terms and policies.
Disclaimers
the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific personal outcomes from using briva.
Limitation of Liability
to the fullest extent permitted by law, briva and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to briva through the apple app store in the twelve months before the claim or fifty united states dollars. some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Termination
you may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account in settings. we may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. upon termination, sections that by nature should survive will remain in effect, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.
Changes
we may modify these terms from time to time. when we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and provide notice in the app or by other reasonable means. continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
these terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where briva operates the service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
